From clubs and arenas to festivals, including Lollapalooza, Bumbershoot, Firefly, Reading and Leeds, Los Angeles-via-Brooklyn band DREAMERS (Nick Wold and Nelson) have shared stages with the likes of X Ambassadors, The 1975, Bleachers, Atlas Genius, Catfish and The Bottlemen, and Weezer while garnering coverage from FADER, Entertainment Weekly and Paste, among others, and performing on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. In 2016, the band released their debut full-length album This Album Does Not Exit, featuring the top 10 Alternative radio hit, the electro-sprinkled pop gem “Sweet Disaster.” Three other songs also charted nationally: the ’90s throwback “Drugs,” the crooning “Wolves (You Got Me),” and the soulful, brisk power-pop of their single “Painkiller.” In 2019 DREAMERS released LAUNCH FLY LAND, their second full-length album that spawned the top 10 alternative radio hit “Die Happy.” In 2020, the band released two more alternative radio hits: Heat Seeker” (ft. grandson), which was featured in Spotify’s Rock This Presents…Best Rock Songs of 2020, and the dark-pop love song “True Crime” (ft. DeathByRomy). In 2021, the band came back with yet another collaboration: DREAMERS teamed up with legendary rapper Big Boi and UPSAHL for “Palm Reader,” off their EP of the same name, which also got the remix treatment by legendary rock band All Time Low. To kick off 2022, the band released infectiously catchy “Black Confetti,” “Body Language” (ft. Kiiara) and “Robbery” (ft. Sueco). DREAMERS closed out the year with the two-track “Internet Junkie” and “Betting On A Good Time” and two successful tours: the No More Bad Days tour with The Score followed by the “Cameras & Coastlines” tour with Smallpools.
Everything that’s worthwhile in life starts with an idea, but in order for that dream to be fully realized it has to be followed up with hard work, creativity and hope. Those traits lie at the core of DREAMERS, a project that was born out of frontman Nick Wold’s seemingly impossible dream of rock stardom. “I originally went to New York University when I was 18 to study jazz but while I was on that path, I realized that I wanted to communicate to people in a way that was more accessible and aligned with my personality,” he explains. Correspondingly in 2014, Wold decided to move into his dingy practice space in Bushwick, Brooklyn, so that he could afford to work one day a week and practice guitar five hours each day. “I had a $20 gym membership so I could shower and the space was teeming with rats and graffiti, but looking back it was a really positive time for me when I first immerse myself in writing 24/7 and started to find my own voice with it in a way I couldn’t before.”
Luck would have it that as soon as the songs started coming together, Wold met bassist/keyboardist/vocalist Nelson and they decide to join forces. “Nelsonwas in the perfect point in his life when we met in the sense that he had been in tons of bands and had lots of experience but he wasn’t sure if he was going to do music anymore,” Wold explains. “It kind of smacked him at the right time.” From there, true to their moniker, things started happening at breakneck speed for the band. They released their self-titled debut EP later that year and DREAMERS’ first single “Wolves (You’ve Got Me)” was soon in rotation on SiriusXM’s Alt Nation, a nearly unprecedented milestone for a new act. The group got lucky once again when they linked up with drummer/vocalist Jacob Wick, who replaced the band’s original drummer after the band relocated to Los Angeles in 2015, and began touring full-time. The following year Fairfax Recordings released DREAMERS’ debut full-length This Album Does Not Exist, which featured breakthrough songs like “Sweet Disaster,” and the band followed that up with a pair of EPs, LAUNCHand FLY, in 2018.
From experiencing the arena-rock grandeur of landing a coveted opening slot on Stone Temple Pilots’ 2015 U.S. tour to performing at the Meadows Music & Arts Festival alongside Jay-Z and Gorillaz, there have been plenty of highs for DREAMERS over the past five years. But there have also been a fair share of crushing lows when it’s come to dissolving relationships and personal struggles — and that duality is present all over the band’s second full length, LAUNCH FLY LAND.“The first two EPs were all about this big breakup that I had been through and these songs were written in the aftermath of that, so in a sense this album is really the sound of me discovering myself,” Wold explains. From feeling like an outcast who doesn’t fit in on the sweetly syncopated “Vampire In The Sun” to the aura of loneliness and longing at the core of “Insomniac,” there is plenty of alienation inherent in the album.
However that’s balanced out by songs like the album’s infectious first single “Die Happy.” “I wrote ‘Die Happy’ after I was coming out of the emotional weight of a breakup and starting to fall in love with the love song again,” Wold explains. “I’m obsessed with the Beatles, especially their early material which was so joyful, so I wanted to write a song in that spirit. It’s just about those small moments that you have that make you think this is a good life and you could die happy.” Similarly, Wold describes “Someway, Somehow” as the most honest love song he’s ever written. “It’s about all these beautiful wonderful feelings but the last lyric is ‘someway, somehow, I’ll let you down,’” he says, “it’s beautiful but also really sad at the same time.” Wold’s perspective was further expanded by his meditative approach to musicianship and psychedelic experiences in the desert that opened his mind to new ways of thinking – and that existential bent is evident on songs like “Celebrate.”
While the band originally intended on releasing a series of three EPs that began with 2018’s LAUNCH and continued with FLY, the band ended up writing so many songs for the final installment of the trilogy that it organically morphed into their second full-length, recorded by the band’s longtime front-of-house sound technician Tyler Tedeschi. “Making this album was a really fresh way of doing things for me because we essentially had two years to keep writing and come up with as many ideas as possible,” Nelson explains. “In the past it’s always been crunch time and a lot of deadlines and I feel like having this type of a timeline allowed us to get deeply creative.” Along the way DREAMERS also enlisted help from their friend, Joywave vocalist Daniel Armbruster. “Alternative doesn’t have to be rock anymore when it comes to instrumentation, it just needs to go a little deeper than what the mainstream has to offer,” Wold adds.
Although most of us can’t say that we had Stone Temple Pilots’ late frontman Chester Bennington buy us hotel rooms on tour so we wouldn’t have to sleep in the van, the sentiments of triumph and tragedy on LAUNCH FLY LAND,are universal and DREAMERS are happy to have come out on the other side with these songs serving as an affirmation of the experience. “We can’t wait to get out on the road and share these songs with people,” Wold summarizes. “In the end, that’s what this is all about.”

DREAMERS ARE BACK WITH NEW TRACK
“DON’T GO DARK” WITH IRONTOM

(January 27, 2023) Today, LA-based band DREAMERS reveal new track “Don’t Go Dark” with IRONTOM, produced by Colin Brittain (Sueco, Royal and the Serpent, 5 Seconds of Summer). After sharing the stage together many times, it notably marks the first collaboration between these two buzzing West Coast alternative stalwarts.
Listen to “Don’t Go Dark”—HERE.
Right out of the gate, bass-y keys give the track a futuristic flair as a neon beat sets the tempo underneath smooth falsetto. The track locks into a call-and-response between DREAMERS frontman Nick Wold and IRONTOM’s Harry Hayes. Hypnotic high-register vocals echo over airy guitar on a dreamy bridge before the song’s strut kicks back into high gear during the hook, “When you turn the lights out, I can hear your heart. You shatter like a light bulb when you fall apart, but oh, oh, don’t go dark.” It encodes an empowering message within a funkified 22nd century rock anthem.
Regarding the song, Nick shared, “’Don’t Go Dark’ is a song about the fight of life. Every life, since the beginning of time, has been fighting against the darkness, fighting to exist for a while before we go back to where we came from. IRONTOM is one of our favorite bands, whose music we always listened to on long desert van drives during our early touring days. It’s great that they’ve become good friends and that we were able to make this incredible song together. Harry and I were talking in the studio about how it’s trendy or fashionable to be depressed, and how it’s easy to spiral down into it. The lyrics came out of that conversation; we wanted to remind people not to let the darkness consume them.”
Harry added, “Don’t go dark. This is a mantra from isolation. A firm slogan to cope with the ominous energy that is frequently in the air these days.”
DREAMERS just closed out 2022 with the two-pack of singles “Internet Junkie” and “Betting On A Good Time.” Unpublished Zine praised how “the band takes a visionary approach to the way they write their music,” while Underground Music Collective raved about their latest tour stop in Nashville, “DREAMERS put on an edgy, high-energy performance that spoke to their history and evolution as a band. Fuzzy guitars, booming rhythms, and a melting pot of genre influences made for a dynamic tour-concluding performance.”
Right now, DREAMERS are preparing more music for release in 2023. Be on the lookout for more soon!
They’re about to shine a bright light of their own in 2023 with “Don’t Go Dark.”

“THE CAMERAS & COASTLINES” TOUR WITH SMALLPOOLS
KICKS OFF TONIGHT IN JACKSONVILLE, FL
(November 4, 2022) Riding a wave of momentum at full speed, LA-based band DREAMERS share a brand-new two-pack release “Internet Junkie” and “Betting On A Good Time” today. Listen HERE.
“Internet Junkie” unpacks our collective obsession with the most addictive drug of all—technology. During the verses, woozy guitar pierces through a glitchy beat. Pairing the electronic production with organic instrumentation, it confronts the vampiric drain of the internet, smartphones, and social media without holding backing. As disarming clean guitar buzzes, frontman Nick Wold delivers the confessional refrain in a rush of raw regret, “Eyes like a zombie. When I’m nodding off, I’m just an internet junkie. No need to worry, I’ll quit when I want. I’m never wasted. I’m only wasting away.”
About the song, Nick reveals, “ ‘Internet Junkie is a portrait of the modern person—so addicted to our phones and technology in general. Not only are we dependent on it for our work and social lives, but it also has apps designed to be addictive that entertain us. They prey on our social insecurities and anxieties, causing us to constantly click and look at the advertising that funds them. The song equated this to heroin addiction in me. I find myself loving the high the tech provides while still finding myself more and more strung-out and depressed the more time I spend with it. So often, what’s fed to us on the internet is low-brow, just brain-rot designed to grab our attention quickly but gives no substance to nourish our minds. This is why I say, ‘I’m getting dumber the more that I read, thinner the more that I feed’.”
On the other end of the spectrum, “Betting On A Good Time” explores the romance of taking risks in pursuit of a much greater dream over an upbeat backdrop punctuated by a gang chant and hummable guitar. Delivering another chantable chorus, the track issues an invitation, “Come on, don’t you wanna try my luck?”
Most importantly, it holds a personal significance for Nick and Co.
He goes on, “This song is about making the crazy choice to be an artist—and more generally, about all the choices we make in life. I think we are gamblers with no certainty about where it will lead, and more often than not, it leads to failure, but we choose to try anyway; we bet the house. It takes a certain sadness to be a gambler, an unwillingness to give up on that next dice roll, that feeling of hope. But no matter what choice you’re making in any life, nothing is ever certain. We can’t see the future, so at a certain point we just have to pick a path and go down it. I always said — let’s take this gamble, and no matter what happens, even if it all comes crashing down, I bet we have a good time in the process.”
Both songs land in the wake of the fan favorite “Robbery” [feat. Sueco]. Listen to “Robbery”—HERE. The latter has already amassed over 1.4 million Spotify streams right out of the gate and stoked excitement for more to come.
The group has racked up millions of streams this year across the original “Body Language” and Alternate Version with multiplatinum pop songstress Kiiara as well as “Black Confetti” and “Bad Days” [with The Score]. “Black Confetti” notably incited a groundswell of activity on TikTok with tens of millions of views on the platform. Not to mention, they’ve earned the applause of OnesToWatch and more.

“THE CAMERAS & COASTLINES” TOUR WITH SMALLPOOLS KICKS OFF
NOVEMBER 4 IN JACKSONVILLE, FL
(August 26, 2022) Maintaining a prolific hot streak this year with a string of hyper-charged tracks and a ton of touring, LA-based band DREAMERS unveil a brand-new single entitled “Robbery” [feat. Sueco] today. Listen to “Robbery”—HERE.
The song marks the first collaboration between the group and multiplatinum artist, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Sueco. It also hints at the scope of the group’s ever-evolving sound and quiet infiltration of mainstream culture.
Produced by Colin Brittain [5 Seconds of Summer, Royal & The Serpent, A Day To Remember] and Pete Nappi [Gayle, UPSAHL, Mike Shinoda, Illenium], the single sees these two alternative disruptors collide on one undeniable anthem, breaking boundaries between pop, alternative, electronic, and rock all at once. Tapping into glossy eighties dancefloor-ready energy, neon synths glow as a glitchy beat turns up the momentum. Likening an overwhelming crush to theft, the instantly infectious refrain resounds, “Take my money, take my time, you got all of me, it’s a robbery.”
About the song, DREAMERS commented, “Two of my favorite producers to work with are Pete Nappi and Colin Brittain. We’ve recorded a lot of Dreamers’ music with them separately over the years, but they’ve never worked together until this song. They actually brought me and Sueco together on it since Colin was in the middle of recording the entire Sueco album. I’m big fan of Sueco and all he’s done, and the song came together quickly one day in LA.”
NEW DREAMERS SINGLE “BLACK CONFETTI” OUT NOW
|
“This song is about throwing a party to celebrate your own death. I always figured the fact that we will one day die is a scary concept, but we could either brush it under the rug and try not to think about it, or we could face it head-on and really think about it, so we can start getting used to it. This is why I read a ton of existential literature when I was younger. I figured I might as well mourn myself now and then get over it, and that always felt right. Realizing that we will die makes us appreciate life. Maybe that’s why some of us goth out and dress all in black. We are dressed for our own funerals and remembering that every moment is precious.”
– Nick Wold
ALL TIME LOW’S WORLD REMIX DEBUT OF DREAMERS’ HIT “PALM READER” FT UPSAHL + BIG BOI

COVER ARTWORK / PRESS IMAGE
New York, NY, June 4th, 2021: Los Angeles-based alt-rock trio DREAMERS’ recent single “Palm Reader” (featuring Big Boi of Outkast and alt-pop disruptor UPSAHL) hits harder after catching the attention of legendary rock band All Time Low. Having debuted on Spotify’s “New Music Friday” playlist and amassing over 2.4M streams, All Time Low’s remixed version of “Palm Reader” debuts today on all streaming platforms. This is the first time All Time Low has remixed a song, and the new version layers a heavier rock overtone, adding guitar shreds and a darker drum beat.
“When we released Palm Reader, we thought it would be something crazy to hear their take on it, and even though they’ve never done a remix before, they said yes, and amped the song to a completely different level. We’re honored to have fostered the WORLD REMIX DEBUT of these living legends,” states Nick Wold of Dreamers.
During quarantine, Dreamers released the Palm Reader EP, a culmination of the band’s hits from 2020 and 2021, which dives deeper into ideas about mortality, gratitude for existence, and the need for knowledge. On how Dreamers met All Time Low – “We met the brothers All Time Low when they took us on tour before the world shut down for Covid. From playing video games backstage (tour therapy) to drunken Karaoke nights to playing epic sold-out theaters across the US, we made some memories that make us daydream of the insane touring life we used to have (and daydream of more even insanity on the horizon when we get back on the road).”
Dreamers were also featured on Grammy Museum Spotlight Saturdays and recently announced their first tour dates of the year: August 8th at Darn Good Fest, Wonderbus Fest on August 28th, and a headline show on September 29 at L.A.’s 1720 Warehouse (ticket information HERE). With the momentum from the All Time Low remix, Dreamers is set to reach new heights in the world of alt-pop.

(New York, NY, March 19th, 2021) – Los Angeles-based alt-rock trio DREAMERS debuted their music video for single “Palm Reader” today via broadcast premiere on MTV Live and MTVU and digital premiere on PAPER. The song which debuted on Spotify’s “New Music Friday” playlist, is an infectiously catchy love song mixed into a world of modern pseudo-spirituality and features the legendary rapper Big Boi of Outkast and acclaimed alt pop disruptor singer/songwriter UPSAHL.
Singer Nick Wold has been a huge fan of Outkast since the early 2000s so Big Boi’s involvement was like a dream for him and his bandmates. The video features Nick with three love interests as he pokes fun at tarot, crystals and magic yet things get a bit weird when a garden hose and lawn mower attack him. Each love interest represents how life always has a way of throwing twists and turns out of nowhere. Big Boi drops a verse at the 2-minute mark with wisdom such as use your “third eye pineal gland / now that’s a birds eye view to always overstand.” In the final scene, Nick magically catches on fire but still can’t keep away from the mysterious girl who has been toying with his heart as he sings “now you’re telling me my future knowing I’ll believe ya / you know I gotta have it / feels like black magic.”
“The ‘Palm Reader’ video is a nice dream gone bad. A strange 80’s suburban life, with a beautiful house and a beautiful yard, and yet our protagonist finds misery and struggle at every turn. He spills his drink. the hose and lawn mower come to life and attack him like maniacal monsters. With performances from the one and only BIG BOI and the one and only UPSAHL, it’s a wet hot summer fever dream, and I sometimes can’t believe it’s real,” states lead singer Nick Wold.
The Palm Reader EP that dropped at the beginning of the month, is the culmination of the band’s hits from 2020 and 2021 and dives deeper into ideas about mortality, gratitude for existence, and the need for knowledge. The project features, “Still Not Dead” ft American Teeth and Wes Period, “True Crime” ft DeathByRomy, “Heat Seeker” ft. grandson and “Teddy Bear.” Dreamer’s were recently featured on Grammy Museum’s Spotlight Saturdays. New York, NY, March 5th, 2021: Los Angeles-based alt-rock trio DREAMERS debut their five song EP titled Palm Reader out today on all streaming platforms. The spotlight track “Palm Reader,” is an infectiously catchy love song mixed into a world of modern pseudo-spirituality and features the legendary rapper Big Boi of Outkast and acclaimed alt- pop disruptor UPSAHL.
“‘Palm Reader’ is a song about an LA woman, adorned with all the crystals, sage, tarot cards and sacred intuitions,” explains lead singer Nick Wold. “I was almost poking fun at her when she said she could tell my fortune. but then I realized while writing the chorus that maybe she can tell my future, since she decides it.
Ever since the early 2000s, Outkast was my favorite hip hop group, and I’ve been having my mind blown by their lyrics and styles for a long time. The fact that Big Boi is on the track is like a surreal dream for me and connects me to my wide-eyed earlier self before we ever started the band. Add in the powerhouse energy and voice of UPSAHL – I’m such a fan of these 2 artists and what they brought to our song. ”
The Palm Reader EP is the culmination of the band’s hits from 2020 and 2021 and dives deeper into ideas about mortality, gratitude for existence, and the need for knowledge. The projects features standout tracks “Still Not Dead” ft American Teeth and Wes Period, and “True Crime” ft DeathByRomy which speaks about breaking hearts. The EP also includes “Heat Seeker” ft. grandson and a classic Dreamer’s track “Teddy Bear.”
“I think this year of quarantine has been a time of reflection and perspective, of realizing what’s really important,” says Wold. Ultimately it’s been really positive, because I know that I have life and good people in my life, and that’s what really matters. This EP is some kind of a twisted diary on the way to that realization. Additionally, it’s been our first stab at branching out and collaborating with other amazing artists that we’re lucky to know.”

Despite ultra-tight Covid safety restrictions that forced a last-minute change in shooting plans, alt-rock trio DREAMERS were able to make a companion video for new track “Still Not Dead,” which you can see HERE.
“Filming this video was the first thing I had done in a group since the start of Covid,” says DREAMERS lead singer Nick Wold. “It was a really good feeling for the band to be together and doing something fun after such a long period of general isolation. Being caught up in the creative process was a much-needed escape. We’ve talked about this song being a celebration of life and that theme carried over to the making of the video. No matter what kind of problems we think we have, we are all so lucky just be alive.”
The “Still Not Dead” video features west coast rapper Wes Period and American Teeth and was shot in Los Angeles with director Joe Striff. “The Covid surge led to us ditching our original concept,” says Striff. “But luckily we were still able to create a video that captures the spirit of the track. We rented a hearse and to our surprise it actually came with an empty casket – which we didn’t know was there until the morning of the shoot. When we arrived at our first location, the elevator was out of service so the band, Elijah (American Teeth) and Wes carried the casket up and down five flights of stairs. It was worth it because it made for one of the most iconic moments in the video.
Along with the new video, DREAMERS and NOCAP have also announced an upcoming live performance, LIVEDREAM 2, from famed L.A. venue The Roxy on March 3. “We’re bringing in some very special guests and playing some new songs for the very first time,” says Wold. “We’ll be broadcasting from the historic Roxy Theatre totally live as you watch, just like the good old days.” For more information on how to watch the livestream click HERE
Billboard included “Still Not Dead” in a round-up of “10 Cool New Pop Songs To Get You Through The Week,” praising the song as an “energetic effort that will make you want to celebrate all of life’s positives” and buzzbands.la lauded the track for being “a morsel of positivity.” “For 3 minutes and 15 seconds,” they wrote, “it’s a vehicle for embracing the little things.”
Like the song, the video sees Wold, Wes Period and American Teeth’s Elijah Noll telling their separate stories about loss and life.
Wold wrote “Still Not Dead” after returning home from the Seattle funeral of a childhood friend, a victim of a drug addiction-related sucide. “I flew back to LA later that night and had a writing session with Eijah from American Teeth the next morning. Strangely, it was also the morning that Kobe Bryant died in that helicopter crash, so everyone in LA was in a weird mood. It was a hard time, a surreal sadness, and there was only one topic I could write about on a day like that.”
“My friend Nick was into Buddhism and practicing gratitude, and at the funeral, his parents played a Raffi song he liked called ‘Thanks A Lot,’ which is a children’s song expressing gratitude for the world. ‘Still Not Dead’ is our version of that, our gratitude for all the small things and the big things that we have – our thanks for getting to be alive.
“Still Not Dead” with Wes Period and American Teeth follows DREAMERS’ recent collaborations: the dark-pop love song “True Crime” ft. DeathByRomy, and “Heat Seeker” ft. grandson which was featured in Spotify’s Rock This Presents..Best Rock Songs of 2020, as well as the band’s top ten alternative hit “Die Happy.”

About American Teeth:
American Teeth is the brainchild and sonic alter ego of Elijah Noll, who collaborates alongside producer Colin Brittain (All Time Low, A Day To Remember, ONE OK ROCK, Papa Roach) on the songs. Hailing from Portland, Maine but currently based in Los Angeles, he has released a handful of singles across DSPs, which have tallied a million streams thus far in an impressive feat for such a nascent artist.
American Teeth is literally a cyborg — he has a mechanical heart valve, which was installed when he was a teenager to replace a faulty valve with which he was born. His music is much the same — fusing organic sounds and shimmering synths.
About Wes Period:
Since his earliest days of making music, Wes Period has colored outside the lines of genre and followed his instincts to a wildly original sound. As a teenager in Orange County, he got his start rapping in local punk bands (often finding himself the only person of color at their gigs), and later moved to L.A. to push forward with his career as an artist / rapper / songwriter /producer. Wes is now gearing up to deliver a dynamic new album he describes as a full-circle moment—the complete realization of a near-lifelong musical vision.
Raised in La Habra, California, Wes began exploring his love of hip-hop as a little kid (“I used to freestyle and make up all these silly songs—there was definitely one that rhymed ‘Shaq’ with ‘Big Mac’,” he notes), and later got his first taste of audience adulation upon performing an original song at the eighth-grade talent show. In high school he started taking the stage at a local coffee shop’s open-mic night, and soon drew the attention of his punk-obsessed classmates. “They taught me all about pop-punk and that Orange County hardcore tradition, and pretty soon I was playing shows at punk clubs all around the area,” he says. “And then later someone showed me Gym Class Heroes and I realized you could combine all these different things I loved so much, which was huge for me—from that point Travie [McCoy] became one of my idols.”
In looking back on his journey over the years, Wes points to a strong connection between his music and his racial identity. “When you grow up mixed, the world wants you to pick a side so they can put you into a nice little box,” he says. “But my parents were always good about letting me be myself, and not allowing stereotypes to shape who I am. And with my music, no one’s really ever known how to categorize me—but now I love that, because I know it means I’m creating something unique.” As he gears up for 2021, Wes hopes to give others the sense of freedom needed to step beyond the bounds of expectation. “I’d love for these songs to reach kids like me and make them feel understood,” he says. “I want them to hear the honesty in everything I’m saying, and then feel inspired to go create a place of their own in the world.”

“I had to fly to Seattle for a last minute funeral,” says DREAMERS lead singer Nick Wold. “One of my closest childhood friends – also named Nick – had just died of drug addiction-related suicide. I flew back to LA later that night and had a writing session with Eijah from American Teeth the next morning. Strangely, it was also the morning that Kobe Bryant died in that helicopter crash, so everyone in LA was in a weird mood. It was a hard time, a surreal sadness, and there was only one topic I could write about on a day like that. So we wrote ‘Still Not Dead,’ which is a song about death.”
While the melodic track may have been inspired by tragic circumstances, it resolves in an uplifting message about gratitude and life. The song was co-written by DREAMERS, Wes Period, American Teeth’s Elijah Noll and Colin Brittain.
“Both Elijah and Wes Period immediately related to the theme of the song,” adds Wold. “We all had our own story to tell and we each wrote and sang a verse.
“My friend Nick was into Buddhism and practicing gratitude, and at the funeral, his parents played a Raffi song he liked called ‘Thanks A Lot,’ which is a children’s song expressing gratitude for the world. ‘Still Not Dead’ is our version of that, our gratitude for all the small things and the big things that we have – our thanks for getting to be alive.”

Just in time for Friday the 13th, cosmic-rock band DREAMERS have released a deliciously dark animated video for their new track, “True Crime” ft. DeathbyRomy. A blend of live action, stop-motion, 2D and 3D animation, by Burton Booz, the innovative clip perfectly captures the song’s story of love and betrayal set in the dark magic of New Orleans. Watch HERE.
Director Jared Asher Harris describes the creative process: “The band was shot on green screen so we could capture their performance. We then cut out their heads and placed them on 2D bodies that were made by mashing up photographs and illustrations like collage-art. The bodies were then rigged and animated in After Effects. The skeletons and sets were all hand-modeled and animated in 3D. When the animation was finished, we outputted the video as one giant clip and cut it up as though it were a live action music video with trippy quick cuts.”
“True Crime” ft. DeathbyRomy was co-written by DREAMERS, DeathbyRomy, Joyway’s Dan Armbruster and Sir Sly’s Jason Suwito and co-produced by Armbruster and Suwito. The track was inspired by the decadent city of New Orleans, and the band’s chance encounter with a male witch (who taught the trio incantations) and what lead singer Nick Wold describes as “the terrible things – the crimes – that we can do to each other in the name of love.”
“True Crime” ft. DeathByRomy and is the follow-up to “Heat Seeker” ft. grandson and the band’s top ten alternative hit “Die Happy.”

About DeathbyRomy:
Singer, songwriter, and dark-pop provocateur DeathbyRomy pays attention to every last detail. She pours both pain and euphoria into her catchy but heavy music, pitting electronic melodies and propulsive beats against hypnotic vocals and deeply personal lyrics. Now 20 years old, the Los Angeles-born Romy Flores wrote her first song at age 5 and began releasing her music at 15, mining inspiration from the iconoclastic artists she was raised on (The Beatles, Björk, Kanye West, to name a few). With her 2018 debut album Monsters, she soon drew an avid following and found countless fans turning up to her shows adorned in her signature eye makeup. Her Capitol Records debut, 2019’s Love u — to Death EP, was short but sickly sweet, emphasizing her unique interweaving of rap boldness, electronic innovation, and raw rock ‘n’ roll passion. As Romy’s sound has taken shape, so has her DeathbyRomy persona: the Harajuku punk fashion, the corpsepaint-like makeup, and her hard-earned, utterly badass confidence. Stay tuned for more new music coming soon.

DREAMERS DEBUT VIDEO FOR “TEDDY BEAR”
WATCH VIDEO HERE
(Wednesday, Sept. 9. 2020) LA-based indie rock band DREAMERS have released a companion video for their brand-new track, “Teddy Bear” – click HERE to watch. The clip was directed by Ben Zucker and shot throughout Echo Park. It was only the second time the band (vocalist/guitarist Nick Wold, bassist/vocalist Nelson and drummer/vocalist Jacob Wick) had been together since the pandemic started.
“We like to make a lot of music videos with big lofty concepts and ideals and ‘Teddy Bear’ is the opposite,” says Wold. “It’s a song from the heart and the video shows us just as we are. Love us or hate us, we are here, staying alive in love and in the modern world. How are you?”
Buzzbands.la praised the track, calling it the band’s “clever/kinda irresistible new single” and spotlighted the lyric, I’m your teddy bear / You left me in your room / My button-eyes are falling out.
Explains Wold, “I was struck by an image of a teddy bear that had been left at home, one that used to get all of the world’s affection but now finds itself sitting more and more on a shelf, its neck sagging into a state of permanent cocked-sideways. If you’ve ever been left at home, if you’ve ever been grown out of, if you’ve ever felt like you were being held on to just for someone else comfort, this song is for you.”
“Teddy Bear” follows the aptly named “Heat Seeker” ft. grandson, which rocketed onto the charts and is currently No. 24 at alternative radio.
The band made a special “isolation video version” of the track, enlisting friends Robert Delong, Joywave’s Daniel Armbruster, UPSAHL and Bikini Trill’s Tony Stern – watch HERE. That followed their original live-action clip (seen HERE) and the animated version of “Heat Seeker” ft. grandson (watch HERE) which follows lead singer Nick Wold and grandson as they search for truth and meaning while navigating a cosmic gauntlet filled with false idols, relentless consumerism and shady politicians.
The Dreamers / grandson collab follows their first team-up, on grandson’s “Whole Lotta,” which is part of the XXwhy campaign designed to raise awareness for voter registration. (Stream HERE)
“Heat Seeker” comes off the success of “Die Happy,” which was a top ten hit at Alternative radio.

DREAMERS COLLAB WITH GRANDSON FOR BLISTERING NEW VERSION OF “HEAT SEEKER”
TRUMP AND PILL-POPPING PRIESTS SWIRL IN CONTROVERSIALLY
COSMIC VIDEO
STREAM / WATCH HERE
(Friday, April 10, 2020) DREAMERSteamed withgrandsonfor a sweltering new version of “Heat Seeker.” The release comes with a brilliantly twisted companion video, a blend of sci-fi, mysticism, religion and rock, and inspired by the eye-popping animation of Pink Floyd’s “The Wall” and 1981’s cult classic Heavy Metal. (Watch HERE)
The provocative new take on the track builds on the truth-seeking power of the original while adding grandson’s signature style and the socially aware artist’s lyrical flair (I wanna be a pacifist but the peacekeeper died on the way to becoming a heatseeker).
This new collab follows the grandson ft. DREAMERS track, “Whole Lotta,” which is part of the XXwhycampaign designed to raise awareness for voter registration. (Stream HERE) “I think we are in an exciting time for alternative music, certainly the most exciting in my lifetime,” says grandson. “Artists are collaborating more and pushing one another creatively. I was psyched to hear DREAMERS pushing their sound in a darker heavier direction and was happy to add my little piece to their story.”
“I’ve always appreciated what grandson puts out into the world, his lyrics, his heavy truth-to-power rock and his messages to fans,” says DREAMERS lead-singer Nick Wold. “I was so glad when he wanted to be a part of this song. It’s a crazy world right now and a perfect time to send some philosophy out into the collective mind.”
The heady “Heat Seeker” ft. grandson video features animation by longtime DREAMERS collaborator Andrew William Ralph and follows lead singer Nick Wold and grandson as they search for truth and meaning while navigating a cosmic gauntlet filled with false idols, relentless consumerism and shady politicians.
“Andrew has been making animation for us since our first release and this is definitely his best one yet,” says Wold. “He and I are both inspired by surrealist art as well as some of rock’s great animations. We plan on taking the hand-drawn animation style to the moon as we continue this project.”
The animated video is the sequel to the brain-melting original, directed by Wold and shot in one take, which dealt with the search for meaning in the modern world as mirrored in the disorienting dream sequence that finds the band lost and searching for the truth.(Watch HERE)
“Heat Seeker” comes off the success of “Die Happy,” which was a top ten hit at Alternative Radio and is the fifth alternative radio hit from the LA-via-Brooklyn band. Expect more music from DREAMERS in the coming months.

DREAMERS RELEASE NEW TRACK & VIDEO FOR “HEAT SEEKER”
LISTEN/WATCH HERE
Today, provocative indie-rock three-piece DREAMERShave released a raucous new track, “HEAT SEEKER,” along with a thrilling music video directed by lead singer Nick Wold. The visual, shot in one take, brings viewers along on Wold’s visually-captivating and surreal adventure. The search for meaning in the modern world is mirrored in the disorienting and gripping dream sequence that finds the band just looking for the truth.
Wold said about the track, “’Heat Seeker’ is a song about being lost and searching through life, searching for a better way, searching for the truth, searching for a higher meaning and a good time.”
About the visual, Wold said “I had always wanted to do a ‘one-shot’ video, so there are no cuts or CGI at all and we pulled off the whole 3-minute performance that you see. It was definitely an insane undertaking and we built the whole thing ourselves and filmed it over just 2 days. We’re changing clothes and switching lights, there’s a fire guy blasting the explosions on the beat, and our touring guitar tech Jesse is dressed in an all-black skin suit pushing the shopping cart on his knees. We finally got it all right on the last attempt of the day. It felt like a summer camp obstacle course to me and was an insane rush when we finally got it all right.”
“Heat Seeker” comes off the success of “Die Happy,” which was a top-ten hit at Alternative Radio and is the fifth alternative radio hit from the LA-via-Brooklyn band.

ABOUT DREAMERS
Los Angeles-via-Brooklyn trio DREAMERS have spent the past few years touring non-stop, from tiny bars and massive arenas to festivals such as Lollapalooza, Bumbershoot, Firefly, Reading and Leeds. Along the way, Nick, Nelson and Jacob have shared stages with the likes of X Ambassadors, The 1975, Bleachers, Atlas Genius, Catfish and The Bottlemen, Weezer, and The Griswolds, while garnering coverage from Fader, Entertainment Weekly and Paste, among many others. In 2016, the band released their debut full-length album This Album Does Not Exist, which spawned a top 10 Alternative radio hit, the electro-sprinkled pop gem “Sweet Disaster.” Three other songs also charted nationally: the ’90s throwback “Drugs,” the crooning “Wolves (You Got Me),” and the soulful, brisk power-pop of their single “Painkiller.” In 2018 the band released a pair of EPs, LAUNCH and FLY, and in 2019 released LAUNCH FLY LAND, their second full-length album that spawned the alternative radio hit “Die Happy.”

DREAMERS RELEASE NEW TRACK & VIDEO “DESENSITIZE”
+ “Die Happy” off of LAUNCH FLY LAND was a top 10 hit on Alternative Radio Charts
Today, cosmic indie three-piece DREAMERS release a new track “Desensitize” alongside a dystopian visual. The video for the grunge-psychedelic banger takes the group through late-night city streets and within an abandoned home. The augmented effects paired up with powerful lyrics lead fans into a thought-provoking realization of the aspects of life that they so commonly look over.
Lead singer, Nick Wold, explains the track stating, “The song is about all the crazy and horrible things in the world that we somehow get used to and even forget about. Lying thieving political leaders, rape war and violence, advertisers constantly selling to us preying on our vanity and worst instincts. In this song, I’m not always singing as me but as a corporate moneyed interest who wants nothing more than for you to acclimate, to not notice, to desensitize.” DREAMERS’ demand accountability from a society that regularly sugar coats the negatives in today’s world. The hard-hitting lyrics, which grapple with the political landscape, self-realization and more, are sung over a fiery guitar riff that emphasizes society’s need for us to “desensitize.”
DREAMERS’ most recent release, “Die Happy,” off of the second full-length album, LAUNCH FLY LAND, steadily climbed the charts to become a top 10 hit at Alternative Radio. The track recently received a fresh take with a remix by The Wombats. The alternative-rock trio is currently on a headlining tour hitting major cities such as New York, Toronto, Chicago, St. Louis, and Los Angeles. See below for the remaining dates and venues.

DREAMERS ANNOUNCE FALL HEADLINE TOUR KICKING OFF
OCT. 24 IN SAN DIEGO
INCLUDING STOPS AT NYC’S GRAMERCY THEATRE (11/11) AND LA’S EL REY (12/6)
BAND IS GEARING UP FOR READING & LEEDS FOLLOWING STANDOUT SETS AT THIS YEAR’S LOLLAPALOOZA & GOVERNOR’S BALL
Fresh off a blistering set at this year’s Lollapalooza, and in the midst of their cross-country tour with 311 and Dirty Heads, the alternative pop-rock trio DREAMERS have announced a 29-city North American headline tour kicking off Oct. 24 in San Diego and wrapping on Dec. 6 at the El Rey in Los Angeles. In addition, continuing their festival appearances which also included Governor’s Ball, DREAMERS are gearing up to make their debut at this year’s Reading & Leeds Festivals (Aug. 23 & 24). Filled with grunge guitars layered over psychedelic aesthetics DREAMERS music toys with themes of existence and existentialism, but it’s easy enough to get sucked into their world and dance the big questions away. “Die Happy” off of their second full-length album LAUNCH FLY LAND, enters its fourth week in the Top 20 on Alternative Radio and album track, “Someway, Somehow” is featured on hit show The Hills. Stream LAUNCH FLY LAND here or purchase here. Luck would have it that as soon as the songs started coming together, Wold met bassist/keyboardist/vocalist Nelson and they decided to join forces. They released their self-titled debut EP later that year and DREAMERS’ first single “Wolves (You’ve Got Me)” was soon in rotation on SiriusXM’s Alt Nation, a nearly unprecedented milestone for a new act. The group then linked up with drummer/vocalist Jacob Wick, and began touring full-time. The following year DREAMERS release their debut full-length album, This Album Does Not Exist, which featured breakthrough songs like “Sweet Disaster,” and the band followed that up with a pair of EPs, LAUNCH and FLY, in 2018. The trio then released LAUNCH FLY LAND, their second full-length album in 2019. This is only the beginning for DREAMERS!

Ahead of a summer that LA-based band DREAMERS will spend on the road, they share a video for their newest, endlessly hooky single, “Die Happy.” The track (currently at 2.5 million streams and counting) is off their recently released LP LAUNCH FLY LAND (stream the album hereand purchase here). Of the video the band’s Nick Wold says, “I wrote, directed, and edited the video for ‘Die Happy’. It’s a song about being in love in a moment, and I wanted to show this mood just with motion and color like a dance, rather than with a plot. The animations show other planes of reality that are always there, but just hiding behind the surface. It’s like we keep dipping between life and the afterlife, between wakefulness and a dream. At first we we’re going to film a concept more about death but it didn’t feel right. The title of the song mentions death, but it’s really just a poem about living and loving, and that’s ultimately what the video had to be.” Watch “Die Happy” here:
DREAMERS are well-known for bringing everything they’ve got to their live set and they will be touring the UK and North America this summer. The schedule includes Governors Ball on June 1, Lollapaloozaon August 2 and the UK’s Readingand Leedsfestivals August 23 and 24, respectively. Further, they are on the road with 311and Dirty Headsfrom July 2through August 20. All dates are listed below.
DREAMERS is Nick Wold, Nelson and Jacob Lee Wick. From experiencing the arena-rock grandeur of landing a coveted opening slot on Stone Temple Pilots’ 2015 U.S. tour to performing alongside Weezer, The 1975, and Catfish and the Bottlemen (among many others), there have been plenty of highs for the band over the past five years. But there have also been a fair share of crushing lows when it’s come to dissolving relationships and personal struggles — and that duality is present all over LAUNCH FLY LAND. The sentiments of triumph and tragedy on the album, are universal and DREAMERS are happy to have come out on the other side with these songs serving as an affirmation of the experience. “We can’t wait to get out on the road and share these songs with people,” Wold summarizes. “In the end, that’s what this is all about.”
DREAMERS debut album This Album Does Not Exist, was released in 2016 and spawned a national radio hit, the electro-sprinkled pop gem”Sweet Disaster.” Three other songs also charted nationally: the ’90s throwback “Drugs,”the crooning “Wolves (You Got Me),“and the soulful, brisk power-pop of their single “Painkiller.”

DREAMERS are happy to announce the release for their new album LAUNCH FLY LAND on April 26. Today the band reveal the new track, “Insomniac.” Of the song the band’s Nick Wold notes, “I’ve always been obsessed with sleep and dreams. From practicing lucid dreaming to drawing artistic inspiration from the bizarre mind trips we have each night. It’s a big part of what attracted me to the name Dreamers. ‘Insomniac’ is about lying awake unable to sleep, unable to quiet the mind, caught in the spider web of doubts, loneliness and haunting memories.” Listen to “Insomniac” here:

Last month the band shared the infectious “Die Happy” which has over 1 million streams on Spotify and counting.
DREAMERS are no strangers to the road and will be supporting LAUNCH FLY LAND with tours throughout 2019. They recently crossed North America with You Me At Six that included a sold-out show at New York City’s Gramercy Theater. The band have now confirmed a tour with Dirty Heads with dates that kick offJuly 2in Dayton, OHand conclude August 20in Salt Lake City,UT. Further, DREAMERS will be making stops at Governors Ball on June 1,Lollapaloozain August and the UK’s Readingand Leedsfestivals August 23and 24, respectively.
LAUNCH FLY LAND is the follow up to 2016’s This Album Does Not Exist, which spawned a national radio hit, the electro-sprinkled pop gem”Sweet Disaster.” Three other songs also charted nationally: the ’90s throwback “Drugs,”the crooning “Wolves (You Got Me),“and the soulful, brisk power-pop of their single “Painkiller.” Last year saw the trio drop 2 EPs, LAUNCHand FLYwhich included the radio hit “SCREWS.”
While DREAMERS originally intended on releasing three EPs, they ended up writing so many songs for the final installment of the trilogy that it organically morphed into the LP. “Making this album was a really fresh way of doing things for me because we essentially had two years to keep writing and come up with as many ideas as possible,” the band’s Nelson explains. “In the past it’s always been crunch time and a lot of deadlines and I feel like having this type of a timeline allowed us to get deeply creative.” Along the way DREAMERS also enlisted help from their friends such as Joywave vocalist Daniel Armbruster making for an album that integrates the sense of community the band feel with other bands in the current alternative scene.

It’s just about those small moments that you have that make you think this is a good life and you could die happy.”
The sentiments of triumph and tragedy on LAUNCH FLY LAND,are universal and DREAMERS are happy to have come out on the other side with these songs serving as an affirmation of the experience. “We can’t wait to get out on the road and share these songs with people,” Wold summarizes. “In the end, that’s what this is all about.”

DREAMERS TO RELEASE NEW SINGLE AND ANNOUNCE U.S TOUR
BAND KICKS OFF U.S. HEADLINING TOUR
SEPTEMBER 13 IN SAN DIEGO, CA
WITH SPECIAL GUESTS WEATHERS, MORGXN, AND RAD HORROR
TICKETS ON SALE TODAY AT https://www.dreamersuniverse.com/tour
Los Angeles, CA (May 25, 2018) Today the L.A.-via-Brooklyn trio DREAMERS, released new single, “Screws,”a sensually charged track driven by pounding drumbeats and lyrics that perfectly channel the frenzy of the mental and physical unraveling of a relationship. The song will be featured on the band’s upcoming EP, due early summer, and coincides with the announcement of a 31-dateU.S. headlining tour kicking off on September 13in San Diego, CA, hitting major cities including Houston, Nashville, Boston, Philly, Chicago, New York and ending in Los Angeleson Oct. 27. The tour features support acts Weathers, along with label-mate morgxn, and Rad Horroron select dates. For tickets, please visit: https://www.dreamersuniverse.com/tour
“Screws” is the first follow up to DREAMERS’ debut album, This Album Does Not Exist, which debuted in 2016 and spun off three singles that charted at the top of the BillboardAlternative chart, including the top 10 Alt radio hit, “Sweet Disaster.”
“Screws,” says lead singer, Nick Wold, “is a tortured love song about losing your mind — the lyric is I’m lying naked and my brain has lost its screws. We really wanted to make a passionate song in the style of early 90’s industrial music, which often dealt with the darker sides of romance, while bringing it into the world of 2018 sonically. It came out of the crumbling of logic and reason that love can bring, twisted dreams and memories, ghosts and insurmountable walls that can be created in a mind left to its own devices. I had a strange feeling at the end my last relationship, that I was most lonely when I was with her.”
Before DREAMERS hit the road this September with openers Weathers, morgxn, and Rad Horror, the trio (vocalist/guitarist Nick Wold, bassist Nelson and drummer/vocalist Jacob Wick) will make their debut appearance Bonnarooperforming Thursday, June 7.The band will continue to release new music throughout the summer leading into their headlining tour.

ABOUT DREAMERS
Los Angeles-via-Brooklyn trio DREAMERS have spent the past few years touring non-stop, playing everywhere from tiny bars and massive arenas to festivals such as Lollapalooza, Bumbershoot and Firefly. In 2016, the band released their debut full-length album This Album Does Not Exist, which spawned a national radio hit, the electro-sprinkled pop gem “Sweet Disaster,” which hit No. 7 on the Alternative radio chart and was spotlighted on SiriusXM’s Alt Nation for several months. Three other songs also charted nationally: the ’90s throwback “Drugs,” the crooning “Wolves (You Got Me),” which initially charted on Alt Nation in late 2014, when DREAMERS were still unsigned, and the soulful, brisk power-pop of their single “Painkiller.” The band recently wrapped a tour with All Time Low, and are gearing up to release their new single, “Screws,” on May 25thwith more new music to be released throughout 2018 and a fall U.S. headlining tour.
ABOUT WEATHERS
Weathers is Cameron Boyer, guitarist Cameron Olsen, bassist Brennen Bates, and drummer Cole Carson. Having gone through some challenging events over the past two years, Boyer wanted to process his struggles through songwriting. He felt compelled to make feel-good songs about self-value, self-discovery, and about being betrayed and moving on. When Boyer and Olsen began writing new songs in January 2017, what emerged was “this messy, glitchy sound,” Boyer says, adding that a 1958 Silvertone guitar bought from a garage sale is played on nearly every song, and gave the music what the album’s producer Tim Pagnotta (WALK THE MOON, Neon Trees) called a “ratty, acoustic” feel. Weathers’ full-length album Kids in the Night will be available June 22nd and EPs Kids in the Night Part 1 andKids in the Night Part 2 are available on streaming platforms now.
