Monster sees Grammer elevating the high-energy, confessional songwriting that has won him millions of fans across the globe. Leaning into acoustic melodies and finding inspiration in the mandolin, the project explores themes of family, relationships, happiness, and letting go across 11 tracks.
At its core, Monster is Grammer’s most personal and sonically versatile album yet. Rife with vulnerable lyricism – yet still brimming with his distinctive optimism – the project is layered in dichotomy. It spans from catchy, uplifting anthems “Still Smiling” and “Monster,” that simultaneously reflect on overcoming darkness & the complicated nature of relationships, to bright, soaring moments in “Magic” and “Friends and Family,” which, in contrast, showcase the beauty and hopefulness in connection. Monster is a testament to Andy’s prowess as a songwriter, and artist, as he explores the human condition & all its complex beauty.
“My new album ‘MONSTER’ is about embracing the full spectrum of emotions, especially the uncomfortable ones like anger,” shares Grammer. “The mandolin’s unique driving sound pulled me into spaces I haven’t been before. I was initially worried that writing about anger might come off as negative, but I’ve realized that sometimes, simply letting others know you’ve been in the same spot they are can be just as healing as an overtly upbeat song.”

Listen to “Expensive” [feat. Pentatonix] on Apple Music | Spotify | Amazon Music | Pandora
It marks the first official collaboration between longtime friends Andy Grammer and 3x GRAMMY Award-winning multiplatinum a cappella phenomenon Pentatonix. He just recently spoke at the group’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony—and yet, little did the world know, this anthem was on the way! Between the “cha-ching” sound of a cash register, finger-snaps, and neon synths, the track showcases some of Grammer’s most dynamic vocals as he locks into a hypnotic harmony with the quintet. It all culminates on the chantable chorus, “You make me feel…Ex-pensive, oh when you pay me attention.”
Up next, Grammer will hit the road on a massive North American tour. It kicks off on “Global Mental Health Day” on October 10 in Burlington, VT at The Flynn, visits major markets coast-to-coast, and concludes on November 4 in Ivins, UT at Tuacahn Amphitheatre. The tour will benefit partners such as To Write Love On Her Arms and Feeding America. Check out the full confirmed itinerary below.

As one of the most innovative, inventive, and inimitable vocal groups of all time, Pentatonix reimagine, reinvigorate, and redefine a cappella. Since emerging in 2011, the three-time GRAMMY® Award-winning and Daytime EMMY® Award-nominated vocal quintet—Scott Hoying, Mitch Grassi, Kirstin Maldonado, Kevin Olusola, and Matt Sallee—have reached unprecedented heights, toppling charts, selling 10 million albums worldwide, generating billions of streams, and performing everywhere from The White House and Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade to The Hollywood Bowl. Their catalog boasts back-to-back #1 albums on the Billboard 200, namely the gold-certified Pentatonix [2015] and platinum-certified A Pentatonix Christmas [2016]. Internationally, these albums performed equally as well with five albums being certified gold, platinum, or double platinum in Canada and ranking in the Top 40 albums six times in New Zealand. Their single, “Hallelujah” also achieved international success as a platinum-certified single in Canada and gold-certified in Germany and Switzerland. They notably made history as “the first a cappella act to win ‘Best Arrangement, Instrumental or A Cappella’ at the GRAMMY® Awards” in 2015 and 2016. A year later, they earned another GRAMMY® Award in the category “Best Country Duo/Group Performance” for their duet with Dolly Parton on her song “Jolene.” Along the way, the collective also graced the stage of The Kennedy Center Honors for Tom Hanks, covering “That Thing You Do” as President Barack and First Lady Michelle Obama watched from the crowd. Plus, they have collaborated with Kelly Clarkson, Dolly Parton, Miley Cyrus, and Lindsey Stirling, to name a few. Beyond standout awards show and late-night television appearances, Pentatonix leapt onto the big screen with a cameo in the blockbuster Pitch Perfect 2. Not to mention, they have supported organizations such as Make-A-Wish, Do it for the Love Foundation, and more. Following 2021’s Evergreen, which tallied over 100 million streams and earned the group a Grammy nomination for “Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album,” Pentatonix launched one of their biggest tours to date, Pentatonix: The Evergreen Christmas Tour. In 2023, the group received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Pentatonix’s album, “Holidays Around the World,” was released on October 28, 2022 and marked the group’s ninth Top 10 entry on Billboard’s Top Holiday Albums Chart. The group closed out 2022 with the completion of their largest U.S. arena tour to date. Most recently, Pentatonix announced details for their highly anticipated 2023 North American Christmas tour, Pentatonix The Most Wonderful Tour Of The Year. Los Angeles, CA – March 31, 2023 – Emmy Award winner and acclaimed multi-platinum singer/songwriter Andy Grammer today released a special spoken word song, based on his poetry, entitled “I Need A New Money” via Giant Soul/S-Curve/Hollywood Records. Written solely by Grammer, “I Need A New Money” grapples with the societal value placed on wealth and champions the idea that money doesn’t correlate to self-worth or happiness and that life’s real currency is love. Listen to the moving song HERE.
“I think it’s crazy that we associate our value as humans with money. When I get quiet with myself, I am aware that my being – my soul – has inherent value but I can forget so easily,” said Grammer. “In our society, we are constantly being told that our worth is somehow connected to our net worth. I obviously know this isn’t true, but I am amazed at how often my actions indicate that I believe it is. This is one of life’s lessons I have had to relearn over and over again.”
I am not merely an economic unit, I am human
How far off are we that that can sound confusing?
I want to strive for more, but oftentimes I don’t know how to
I need a new money that measures my inherent value
The official video for “I Need A New Money” was also released today and can be viewed HERE. The video, directed by Cooper Davidson, shows Grammer working the cash register at a small convenience store. Every customer in the store participates in the spoken word performance, symbolizing the universal experience of the poem’s message which ties us all together regardless of perceived circumstance. American Songwriter gave fans a first look at the video where they shared “He makes a strong case for the notion that it is actually happiness, love, and other intangible—yet inherent—things that are the real currency we should be focusing on.”
Grammer’s passions not only lie in his music, but also in his philanthropic work. This is paramount to who he is as a person, and it is greatly reflected in his artistry. Los Angeles, CA – January 13, 2023 – Emmy Award winner and acclaimed multi-platinum singer/songwriter Andy Grammer today released his brand-new song “These Tears” via Giant Soul/S-Curve/Hollywood Records. Written by Grammer alongside Jake Torrey and Tone, “These Tears” chronicles the trials and tribulations of loss and gives fans another taste of Grammer’s emotional yet uplifting storytelling. Listen to the song HERE.
“Letting go…is hard work. I actually thrive with most kinds of hard work. Tell me how many miles to run, I’ll do it. Tell me how many songs I have to write to chase excellence, I’ll crush it. Hard work and achievement have always been my comfort zone,” said Grammer. “But letting go isn’t something you can achieve, crush, or master. It’s more of a slow burn, an acceptance, a daily release in small doses. If you are letting something or someone go at the moment, I feel you, I’m with you, I wrote this song for you.”
These tears mean
I’m letting you go
I’m learning how to be alone
I’m broken but give it time
I’m gonna be alright
The official music video for “These Tears” was also released today and can be viewed HERE. The video, directed by Cooper Davidson, features Grammer visiting a childhood home which floods him with memories of his late mother. Memories after losing a loved one are hard but letting go of the pain will help you embrace a new, hopeful future.

Los Angeles, CA – November 11, 2022 – Emmy Award winner and acclaimed multi-platinum singer/songwriter Andy Grammer today released his brand-new song “Good In Me” via S-Curve/Hollywood Records. Written by Grammer alongside Jake Torrey, Nolan Sipe, and Jon Levine, “Good In Me” was inspired by the idea that it’s impossible to only share the positive sides of yourself in a long-term relationship. Your partner gets the full scope of what you are and who you aren’t, but they choose to see the good in you. Get the song HERE.
“I am many things. I am a blast. I am annoying. I am generous. I can be self-centered. I am adventurous. I am forgetful. I am playful. I am soulful. I can be entitled,” said Grammer. “In my experience, love isn’t being head over heels; it’s being seen fully and still loved. When someone has the full scope of who you are and puts their focus on your positives, that is some deep love. And I am so thankful my wife sees the good in me.”
The official music video for “Good In Me” was also released today and can be viewed HERE. The video, directed by Cooper Davidson, features a beautiful dance sequence and band performance in the rain amidst a stunning neon-lit backdrop.

This holiday season, Grammer adds to his prestigious list of national TV appearances with performances at the 100th National Christmas Tree Lighting in Washington, D.C., and at the 24th Annual A Home for the Holidays at The Grove. These specials will air on CBS on December 11 and December 23, respectively.

Andy, who is known for engaging, energizing and empowering audiences across the world with his chart-topping radio hits, takes listeners through experiences of fear, doubt, sorrow, grief, pressure, jealousy and shame before finally finding joy as evidenced in the new track’s hook, “I found joy, yeah she opened up my eyes and gave me wings and halo rings and taught me how to fly.”
On the inspiration for the song, Andy said:

All of these songs are building towards a bigger vision for Andy’s fifth full-length album due out in late 2022.
Andy will also kick off The Art of Joy Tour on Friday, February 4 at Resorts World in Monticello, NY. The first leg of the tour includes 18 dates with stops in Cleveland, Boston, New York, Chicago, Denver, San Francisco and more.

WHO: Andy Grammer
WHAT: Acclaimed multi-platinum pop singer and songwriter Andy Grammer, who is known for engaging, energizing and empowering audiences across the world with his chart-topping radio hits, has today announced his forthcoming The Art of Joy Tour. The 17-date run will kick off at Resorts World in Monticello, NY on Friday, February 4, 2022 with stops in Cleveland, Boston, New York, Chicago, Denver, San Francisco and more before wrapping on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at Uptown Theatre in Napa, CA.
The announcement comes on the heels of Andy’s new single “Damn It Feels Good To Be Me,” which he wrote about boldly owning your individuality. It leans into irreverent and rhythmic pop energy that will leave anyone feeling great after one listen. The song has been one of the most added tracks at Adult Pop radio the past two weeks, just charted and has 60 percent of the stations at the format already spinning the song. Coast to coast major market support includes KBIG/LA, K101/San Francisco, KDMX/Dallas, WWBX/Boston and WDVD/Detroit. The official music video was recently released and features Andy celebrating the uniqueness of people at a wild karaoke dance party. Click HERE to watch.
“Damn It Feels Good To Be Me” follows “Lease On Life,” a song created under the inspiration of a newfound perspective Andy gained during the pandemic. His second daughter was born two weeks into the lockdown, and as months rolled on with future touring and recording more uncertain than ever, he did a whole lot of soul-searching and grasped for meaning. Through personal analysis, some very helpful therapy, and a lot of time with his family, he began to derive self-worth from within rather than outside of himself, which helped realign his approach to music in the process.
Both tracks will be featured on Andy’s forthcoming fifth full-length album due out in early 2022.
TICKETS: Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday, October 8 at 12 PM local time. There will be several pre-sales including a VIP pre-sale on Tuesday, October 5 at 10 AM local time, a Spotify pre-sale on Wednesday, October 6 at 10 AM local time and an artist pre-sale on Thursday, October 7 at 10 AM local time. Andy, who is known for engaging, energizing and empowering audiences across the world with his chart-topping radio hits, wrote this song about boldly owning your individuality. He said of the track:
“The pandemic forced me to spend nearly two years stripped of the identity I had worked hard to create for myself in the world. I had the gift of time to re-examine a lot and realized that sometimes in an effort to fit in with culture I am tempted to turn myself down for the fear of not being accepted. So, I wrote ‘Damn It Feels Good To Be Me’ as a reminder to myself to follow the beat of my own drum. I want this song to be for those who have come to that point in their life where they’re just FINALLY enjoying the freedom of self-acceptance.”
“Damn It Feels Good To Be Me” leans into irreverent and rhythmic pop energy that will leave anyone feeling great after one listen. It is the first official single off Andy’s forthcoming fifth full-length album, due out in early 2022.
It follows “Lease On Life,” a song created under the inspiration of a newfound perspective Andy gained during the pandemic.

June 28, 2021 (Los Angeles, CA) – Acclaimed multi-platinum pop singer and songwriter Andy Grammer is back to engage, energize and empower audiences with his anthemic new song “Lease On Life.” The track is available everywhere today via Giant Soul/S-Curve/Hollywood Records.

At the onset of the global pandemic, Andy’s life changed again. Under the inspiration of this newfound perspective, he penned “Lease On Life.”
“This song speaks to the rare moments in life where I have clarity, where I feel like I’m on the top of the mountain and I can see for miles,” said Andy. “I’m always trying to get there. Sometimes nature helps, meditation, prayer or just time with my family. I need those reminders, we all need those reminders that there is more in front of us then behind us.”
On the track, delicately plucked acoustic guitar curls around his verses as tambourine and handclaps pick up momentum towards a bold bridge. It culminates on the chant, “Everything’s gonna be alright…got a brand new lease on life.”
Andy recently surprised fans on their doorsteps with a live performance of the song. Click HERE to watch their reactions and HERE to watch the lyric video.
“Lease On Life” notably soundtracks a major global advertising campaign by International Hotel Group (Holiday Inn Express, Intercontinental, Kimpton). The commercial has already amassed nearly 10 million YouTube views. Andy also premiered it on CNN’s Graduation 2021: A CNN Special Event where Vice President Kamala Harris delivered the keynote address.
“Lease On Life” is the first new song off Andy’s forthcoming fifth full-length album. Stay tuned for more news from him soon.
